Object : English Language Corrections

Dear all,

Might I suggest we use this topic thread to highlight any English Language errors in the system?

For example we could use the template:

Docebo Version: 3
Where: Admin > eLearning > Menu Management
What:  The symbol Leave where it has a tool tip appear when mouse is over it
Error: The tooltip says 'leave'
Suggested Fix: Change it to Drop or Delete

What do you all think?  It could help all in correcting the appawling English in this fantastic system.

Look to your feedback and contributions.

Sincerely,

Thomas Smith

Hi,
thanks for your suggestions and corrections.
The template you suggest is very practical, if anybody else wants to add other corrections to this topic, please adopt it.

As shown in the instructions, I've been changing the text in Docebo via configuration/Configuration interface options and clicking Activate language editing (used for debugging) and . You can then click on the red word you want to change below and edit it in the box (this is to help anyone else who lands on this page!). There are still lots of problems in the Docebo text, but it's actually pretty easy to change it, and IMO it doesn't detract much from its great features.

What I'm not yet able to do is change text that is entered as part of the course info, specifically 'english' which should obviously be capitalized. It's a detail but I'd like to get it right (I'm using this to deliver language teaching...)

Any guidance or suggestions?
