Object : Assign Forum to Multiple Courses / Module Template

Salve a tutti / Hello All!

I have tried and tested 4 LMS/LCMS's before deciding to implement Docebo as my LMS.

I like the permissions system and the way of structuring the courses, the layout and delivery of scorm objects it has.

Two things that I liked VERY MUCH in ATutor was the fact you could create a forum and assign it to multiple courses and the easy modular installation process that it has.

How can I go about asigning one forum for multiple courses? would it involve a lot of work? How much would it cost?  Is there anyone I can discuss this with?

Is it possible to create a generic Module template which communicates with Docebo so that we can develop plugins and share them here?  This is something that has proven to accellerate the development of other Open Source Systems such as ATutor, Moodle, Joomla etc.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi ebsi,
I have to admit that the current module system is not easy to extend by new developers.
We plan to change it entirely in Docebo 4.0, and make it easily extendible.

Concerning the LMS forums, they are linked to the course, so currently you can't use a single forum for different courses.
We also plan to unify the forums in Docebo 4.
