This topic is specific to the Lms forums, but maybe they work the same in the CMS.
In some other systems I have used, when I send by email a link to a specific forum thread to a user, the user can click it to go to the site, be presented with the login screen, the user can then login, and then be carried straight to the forum post that was sent by email link. And if the user lacks permission to see that forum, then the user is informed of such.
Very useful from my perspective. Again, I'm not a coder. Sorry, sure wish I were.
And being a college professor at a community college in california makes me too poor to pay, though I'll consider presenting docebo to the school after my district's attempt to implement some other not open source cms fails...there's probably money there...
