Hi all,

I've been upgrading to Docebo ver. 3.5.0.3 and the installation went without problems, but it seems like, there is no language/translation. All the text labels for form fields etc. have some rather strange text.

E.g. the login page for DoceboCore:

"Log userid"
"Log pwd"
"Log lang"   - Field: "Default lang"

And I'm not able to select anything in the dropdown "Lang", although I select both "English", "German" and "Italian" during installation.

When logged in the text for the top menus in DoceboCore are:

"First line framework"
"First line lms"
"Jump to"
"logout"

And if I want to create a new user, I get strange titles/text such as:

"Directory peopleviewtitle"

"Start page directory peopleviewtitle> Org chart create"

"Directory editperson"

...and the "Language" dropdown field is empty!

Anyone know, what have gone wrong for me?

HMmm,
Go to admin area  directly (http://localhost/docebo3/doceboCore/) . login and then go-> configuration -> Configuration and interface options and set your Default Language .then do logout and login again . I hope this help you.

When I go to the configuration menu the drop down field "Default language" is empty too.... :-(

It`s strange!
Could you access to admin>Language>Language management or admin>Language>Language Imort/Export ?
If yes , what installed languages you see in language management ?

Seems that you did'nt click the "start" button during language installation in Docebo installer.
go on www.yourdomain.com/upgrade/ then click to a phrase that sounds like "overwrite alla languages" and then click "start"

Hello,
I just installed docebo 3504. Everything seems to be ok until i reach the language installation step...
As you can see in the pic every time I try to install a language it fails.

Then I went on www.mydomain.com/upgrade but after clicking "next step" on the first page (the language selection page) I have one warning and one error:

Warning: domdocument::domdocument() expects at least 1 parameter, 0 given in C:\Programmi\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\docebo3504\upgrade\lib\lib.upgrade_management.php on line 17

Fatal error: Call to undefined method DoceboDOMDocument::load() in C:\Programmi\EasyPHP 2.0b1\www\docebo3504\upgrade\lib\lib.upgrade_management.php on line 19

Any suggestion?

Do you have increased your max_execution_time in php setting ?
You should increase it from 30s to more than 300s on your computer and from 30s to 60s in a real server (webhosting service) ?
You told that you just installed 3504 . So why do you want to upgrade it !!?

Well: actually I'm working on my localhost and the max execution time is already at 400s
I was trying to launch the upgrade just to give a try and install languages from there

Mmmmm, some time I have your problem on my PC also with high max_execution_time  ! I click several times on Retry link to complete language installation and it seems that all language code will be copy without any problem .
If you couldn`t get success , it`s better change your PHP-Mysql provider (easyphp) .
Using upgrade couldn`t solve your problem .
