I have registered DimDim with username and password. I configured them into Configuration > Chat and Video Tab.

Then login as student, go to Collaboration area of Full Menu. Click VideoConference link. Hit this error.

Fatal error: Class docebodomattr: Cannot inherit from undefined class domattr in c:\program files\easyphp1-8\www\docebo\doceboCore\lib\lib.domxml5.php on line 29

I read the manual - How to schedule a virtual classroom, page 94/126.

"Room activation can be scheduled in a classroom area called Videoconference, when active teacher and students can enter in the virtual classroom already identified with the name and surname used in Docebo."

So, shall i need to change my course to "classroom" type, and associate a classroom to the couse?

I see the screenshot of page 94/126 Manual. Seems like i need to click ??virtual?? under the student area. But, i dont see any ??Virtual?? module for me to include into Student Area.

Hope someone can help to explain the steps.

I finally made the videoconference (DimDim) working. Here are the basic steps:

1. Register an account at dimdim website to get a username and password.

2. Login as Admin. Go to Configuration > Chat and Video Conference tab > enter the username and password to the DimDim Setting.

3. Login as Instructor. Go to Collaboration Area > VideoConference. Create the VideoConference room. See screenshot below.

4. Click Enter and Start Meeting link. This pop up a new window. You must start the meeting, else student cannot join the VC.




5. Below is the VideoConference interface where both instructor and student have joined. Right side is the Chat Room. Middle portion can be Computer Screen (like PC Anywhere, intructor's screen will be displayed on Student Machine) (i couldn't get in because DimDim said the network was congusted), White Board (Both Instructor and Students can draw or type something on the whiteboard). Left Bottom portion is the list of Participants and Camera (i don't have camera, so blank).



6. Simultaneously, students can login, choose the course, go to Collaboration Area > VideoConference. Click Enter to join the VC room.

please feel free to ask if you need some technical help; also please not that in about a month we will release the beta version of docebo4 with an improved framework that will be more mvc based, so it should result also more easy to understand.

HI I have followed the instructions as stated and the class is listed in video conference but all it shows is:

As you can see no enter button or link... I have set up the account on dim dim so am totally confused...

Hi Thomas,

This is the screenshot of Intructor's interface or Student's interface?

Don't forget to let instructor to launch the Videoconference first. Else, student can't enter the room.
