Learning Object Glossary
Glossary is a list of special terms with explanation that related to the course. The glossary object works in the same way as FAQ, you need to create the category to group the words first and then insert the words one by one through the dedicated form.

1. At the Teacher Area menu, click on Admin learning object.

2. Leave the Course Objects tab selected.

3. Click New Learning Object tool.

4. Select the Glossary and then click New Learning Object.

   

Note: Create Glossary Page displays.

  

5. In the Title textbox, enter the glossary name. Eg. Glossary.

6. In the Description editor, you can leave it blank. Then, click Insert.

Note: It returns to Course Object page. Notice that the newly created Glossary LO is listed.

Now, you need to add glossary item and explanation into the glossary.

  

7. In the Course Objects page, click the Modify Learning Object.

8. Click Add a word.

   

9. In the Word textbox, enter the glossary item.

10. In the Word description editor, enter the explanation of the word.

11. click Insert.

  

12. Repeat the step 8-11 to create more glossary items.

You can edit or delete the word you added in. Click the Delete tool at the right hand side of the word to delete the word. Click the Edit tool beside the word to edit the word.

The glossary object works in the same way of the FAQ, so you need first to create the category to group the words and then insert them one by one through the dedicated form. In the visualization area it is possible to select the words by letters or through the list shown on the left colum.
