Learning object HTML page
Instructor can create html pages directly online using HTML Page LO. To publish html pages means to publish web content that includes formatted text, links and images that can be viewed by the student as a source of information to the course.

1. At the Teacher Area menu, click on Admin learning object.

2. Leave the Course Objects tab selected.

3. Click New Learning Object tool.

4. Select the HTML page and then click New Learning Object.

   

Note: Create HTML page displays.

  

5. In the Title textbox, enter the title of the HTML page.

Docebo LMS is using TinyMCE, a Javascript WYSIWYG Editor. It has the ability to convert HTML codes to user-friendly editor instances and vice-versa. For users who are not familiar with HTML language - a language for the world wide web, they can use this WYSIWYG editor tools to write the web content, just like working in the Microsoft Word environment and TinyMCE will help to convert the content into HTML code.

6. In the Page text editor, TinyMCE, you can just type the content of the HTML page and use the formatting tools such as Bold, Italic, Underline, indent, numbering, bullet etc, like you work in Microsoft Word. Editor will automatically generate HTML coding and you can preview the coding by clicking the Edit HTML Cording tool.


  

You can also insert the image using the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor.

7. Click the Insert/Edit Image tool.

Note: Insert/ edit image dialog box appears.



8. At the image URL field click the browse button.

Note: The File Browser dialog box appears.

9. Click Personal Images. Then click the Add button, browse the image inside your computer, click Save Changes.

10. It will bring you back to the Insert image dialog box then click the paper clip to attach the image.

11. The image will appear in the preview window, click Insert. The image will insert to the text typing area.

 

You can also insert embedded media, such as flash or movie.

12. Click insert/edit embedded media button.

 

13. It will bring you back to the dialog box as below, click the paper clip to attach the flash file.

14. Insert the dimension of the file, the flash appear at the preview area. Click Insert, the flash file will be inserted to the text area.

15. You can toggle the screen to full screen mode by clicking the Toggle full screen mode button.

16. After you finish inserting the content, click Save Changes.
